The FSC Safeguarding Cafe – A Space for Connection and Support

Being a safeguarding lead in funder organisation can be both rewarding and challenging. You carry significant responsibility, often navigating complex situations while ensuring the highest standards of care and protection. But where do you access support?

The FSC Safeguarding Cafe is an informal, welcoming space created exclusively for safeguarding leads in funding organisations. Think of it as a relaxed, cafe-style environment where you can step away from the pressures of your role and connect with others who truly understand what it means to hold this responsibility.

Here, you’ll find a community of peers ready to share experiences, offer mutual support, and exchange practical insights. It’s a place for honest conversations – confidential and respectful – where you can reflect on the realities of safeguarding leadership without judgement. Whether you want to discuss emerging challenges, explore best practices, or simply take a moment to breathe and feel heard, the Safeguarding Cafe is your space.

No formal agenda. No presentations. Just real dialogue, shared learning, and a chance to strengthen the network of safeguarding professionals across the funding landscape.

Join us for a cup of coffee, a listening ear, and a supportive community that values your role and your wellbeing. Because effective safeguarding isn’t just about preventing harm to others – it’s also about ensuring you have the support you need.
